Your Chrono-centric Brain (lp)

Description
Professor Breuning again invites us to reflect on some of our deepest mammalian instincts. This time she’ll ask us to focus on how our brains perceive the world and then produce the neurochemical responses fit for each perceptive occasion. Think of it as a kind of reward system, with a dose of dopamine, oxytocin, or serotonin to stimulate a proper response. Will it be fight, flight, or surrender to a wave of pleasure? And do our brains always deliver the right dose? Join Professor Breuning for another dive into the complexities of our mammalian natures. Perhaps the more we know about them the better we might survive and even thrive.
