Course Description
In this talk, students will learn about a group of American war heroes often overlooked by the history books: World War II’s Angels of Bataan, a group of US Army nurses who were stationed in the Philippines and represent the first large group of American women to serve on the front lines of a war and the first group of American women to be taken as prisoners of war.
