Course Description

The Art Nouveau movement began as an outgrowth of the Arts and Crafts movement and caught fire all over Europe as well as the rest of the world. It was obsessed with breaking the rigid rules of conventional academies. The primary focus was on beauty; how to create it, how to enhance it, and how to disseminate it. We’ll look at its roots and do more focus on major participants.
