Course Description
The City has been working with the Navy to prepare for the transfer of ownership of the CNWS land to the City. The new Master Developer and the City will work together to negotiate the terms of this transfer. The City expects to begin working with the new Master Developer to prepare a Specific Plan and Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Project in early 2022. The Specific Plan and EIR will be the subject of public workshops and reviewed by the Planning Commission and City Council prior to Council adoption. (Field Study)
