Course Description

Dolphins have long fascinated humans.  They have been known to rescue and assist swimmers and those in shipwrecks, but the fascination goes even further.  Dolphin anatomy, characteristics and behavior accent their appeal as mammals that thrive in pods or individually.  Many sites around the world host facilities to observe and even swim with dolphins.  We’ll explore the many habits and lore of dolphins—and the fact that they may have even been land dwellers long before they migrated to dwelling in the sea.
