Course Description

Dr. Lam offers us a clear vision of what’s going on in the world around us and how it affects our health. She will also discuss how our own behavior can harm or hurt our responses to the complicated world we live in and look closely at public health policies. The list to be considered is daunting: the impact of climate change; the chemicals we encounter in our daily lives; air, water, and food pollution; and the complexity of policies in place to deal with such matters as well as policies under consideration. How to cope effectively with all this and stay healthy is challenging. Allow Dr. Lam and OLLI to give you helpful guidance for navigating the maze.
