Mr. Lavine will be your guide into this stylish genre and the creative era in film making when it emerges.

You will begin by viewing six feature-length noir film gems from the 1940s on your own (oh, what a task!) and then come together to discuss the dramatic plots, dialogue, and cinematography of these bona-fide film classics.
