Ms. Mauch invites us to join her for discussions of the final four operas of the MET’s 2018 season. She’ll use CDs and DVDs to make vivid her exploration of the historical, musical, and theatrical high points of the quartet. This second and final part of the season begins with “Semiramide,” followed by “Cosi fan tutte,” Luisa Miller,” and “Cendrillon.”  Whether you are a newcomer to opera or a veteran, here’s a chance to deepen your appreciation of the medium’s irresistible mix of music, drama, and visual splendor.

This course is located at the Rossmoor Community – Gateway Complex, Fireside Room, 1001 Golden Rain Road, Walnut Creek, CA 94595.
