OLLI and a team of local naturalists offer a rare, diversified opportunity to discover more about Mount Diablo, one of our region’s treasures. The history of human connections and interactions with the mountain go far back in time and continue into our own age. OLLI invites you to a field study afternoon at Big Break on the mountain, and urges you to bring a younger guest with you for some intergenerational reflections on our interactions with nature and with Mt. Diablo in particular. The mountain’s looping trails and picnic areas make it a beautiful place to spend time. Join OLLI, a knowledgeable team of naturalists, and perhaps some “youngsters” for an exploration of Mt. Diablo’s delights and natural wonders.

(For Jan. 25th field study — time extended to @ 2:30 p.m. – Please bring a bag lunch.)
