Course Description
Using both common and rare recordings and video clips, Mr. Unterberger will trace the Doors’ evolution from the dawn of their career in the mid-1960s through singer Jim Morrison’s death in 1971. Their unique fusion of rock, blues, classical, jazz, and poetry into psychedelia will be explored in detail, as will charismatic singer Morrison’s controversial life and image.
