Course Description
Wendell Berry was an ecological poet, radical farmer, and prescient environmentalist. His poetry and prose ranges from sublimely meditative to the urging of radical activism. Ms.Bernell offers us carefully curated poems and prose selections from this remarkable writer/farmer’s works, writings that might teach us how arable land and nature are linked, and about how land can be productively used without losing its basic links to the broader biosphere. You might think art and farming make an odd mix. Allow Ms. Bernell and OLLI to show you how well they can co-mingle. Wendell Berry’s work proves it, and he adds engaging radical spice to the blend.
