Course Description
If you’re anything like me, you enjoy discovering new artists when visiting museums. Over the course of three weeks, we’ll look at quite a few artists that many of you never heard of: a Danish artist who clearly loved Vermeer; a French realist that was only known in the Alsace-Lorraine region; a Black American artist who was part of the Harlem Renaissance but didn’t live in Harlem; a scandalous Polish artist who may or may not have been a baroness, and many more. Most of all, we’ll have a lot of fun looking at great art!
