Course Description
Join us as we romp through a Dickensian world – reviewing the author’s life and times, works, friends, social contributions and influence throughout the centuries. We’ll look at the man who “invented” Christmas, fostered help for the downtrodden, promoted the novel itself and everything he inspired from Dickens Fairs to Barbara Kingsolver’s DEMON COPPERHEAD.
