Professor Beeson will bring us up to date on both the turbulent history behind recent legalization regarding cannabis and how seniors may use the plant to mitigate the effects of aging. The Rossmoor Medical Marijuana Education and Support Club will be one of her key reference points and her latest research with them will be included. It’s a group active in exploring and promoting medical use of cannabis. Allow OLLI and Professor Beeson to share information about using non-psychoactive cannabis to improve sleep and control seizures, among other options. Here are attractive prospects for reducing or avoiding use of potentially more dangerous pharmaceuticals like anti-depressants and opiates. Perhaps it’s time to “Peace Out!”
